🎴 Tablić

A Balkan fishing card game (of the Scopa/Casino family). Play cards to capture cards from the table; the player or team with the most points across deals wins. This game follows the pagat.com rules.

Setup

Standard 52-card deck. Each player is dealt 6 cards; 4 cards are dealt face-up to the table. The rest form the face-down stock. When both hands are empty, six more cards are dealt to each player (no new cards go to the table) until the stock is gone.

Capturing

On your turn, play one card. It may capture table cards whose values sum to the value of your played card — and it can capture several groups at once, each summing to that value. Capture values:

CardCapture value
Ace1 or 11 (your choice)
2 – 10face value
Jack12
Queen13
King14

Example: a King (14) can take A+3 (ace as 11) and 6+8 in one play. A card that captures nothing — or that you choose not to capture with — is trailed (left face-up on the table). Capturing is optional: you may always trail.

Tabla (sweep)

Emptying the whole table with a capture scores a bonus tabla (+1). The very last capture of a deal does not count as a tabla. At the end of a deal, any cards still on the table go to the dealer.

Scoring (per deal)

First to 101 points across deals wins the match.

How to play here

Tap a card in your hand. If it can capture, the cards it will take are highlighted — press Capture to take them or Trail to leave your card on the table instead. A card that can't capture can only be trailed.
